![]() ![]() Due to the way the Blessing pools are set up, it is currently better to choose a single Knight's Weapon and Ability to avoid watering down your pool of mods. The Piper should be one of many events that can Spawn and should 100% hve a chance to appear kn later maps too. This could be fixed by adding more blessings, more interesting items and more events to aquire both of the above. ![]() With the limited pool per each Knight, your end game builds look pretty similar. The most variety in a run is felt in the first stage or two, while you get your Blessings in order. Right now those seem to be purely cosmetic, while they could have more interesting gameplay applications. I'd like to see more of a connection between unlocking random town objects and your kingdom level. ![]() Perhaps Merlin could explain that the Knights are being hidden and having more Void Blood allows their momentos to appear? This needs to be reduced and more clearly expressed to the player through diologue. I was left wondering if I was missing a hidden object or area until I realized the unlock condition was beating the Void Giant twice. Unlocking Knights is a cool concept, however: the time between unlocking the statue sculptor and your first momento is for too great. Bors "Blade Vortex" ability was the exception to this, but its cooldown appears to have been increased, which is unfortunate. Going from 18 seconds down to 14 seconds doesn't do enough on its own. Let the players press buttons! Maybe I want to invest in my lightning cooldown and damage and pretend I'm Zeus. These really should be 10 seconds or less with damage balanced appropriately, so that each cooldown Blessing reduces the cooldown by 10% or more. Knight abilities have too long of a cooldown to feel worth investing in. It often feels like I need to be far outside a circle to completely avoid an attack. While the roll feels responsive and the attacks feel nice, the hit-boxes are a bit off. That being said, after playing the game for a good 12 hours or so (Switch), there are a few areas where the game could use some changes to improve the overall flow and longevity of the game. To begin, I enjoy the game and I would recommend it, despite its flaws. ![]()
